NJIT sophomore Jana Luste captured the Flight “B” Singles backdraw Sunday at the Cornell Fall Invitational at the Reis Tennis Center.

Luste defeated Colgate's Miranda Podlas advancing to the championship of the backdraw where she faced teammate Carolina Zanotta, who battled out a three-set victory over Buffalo's Alexandra Diamandi, 6-2, 6-7 (5), (10-8). 

In the championship match, Luste won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2 over Zanotta.
