Freshman Ksenia Kuzmenko was named 2011 Great West Conference Women’s Tennis Newcomer, Athlete of the Year and earned first-team honors.

NJIT captured the 2011 Great West Conference Women’s Tennis title Sunday, defeating third-seeded North Dakota, 4-2.

 

Kuzmenko, from Moscow, Russia, was also named to the Great West Conference first-team while finishing with an 8-8 mark at first singles in her first season at NJIT.
