NJIT broadcaster Michael Ventola caught up with fourth-year lacrosse head coach Travis Johnson to preview the Highlanders' upcoming 2018 season.

The Highlanders concluded the 2017 season 1-14, dropping four games by only three goals or less. NJIT broke four program records last season: goals in a game (17), assists in a game (14), points in a game (31) and face-off wins (19), including 12 individual records.

With construction underway on-campus for the new Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium, which is scheduled to open in Fall 2018, the Highlanders home field for the upcoming season will be in Madison, NJ, on the campus of Drew University - Ranger Stadium.

NJIT will open the season against Lehigh for the third consecutive season on February 3 at 12Noon.
