The NJIT men's soccer team will participate in the Go4theGoal Foundation “Lace-Up 4 Pediatric Cancer” fundraising and awareness campaign. Players will wear
NEON YELLOW shoelaces when the Highlanders host Adelphi on Saturday, October 29 at 7pm on Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.
NJIT will sell the laces during the game for $3.00 per pair. All proceeds will benefit Go4theGoal Foundation.
"We are amazed at the response and support we have received from College and University athletics, High School, Middle School, Town and Recreational teams and even marching bands across the country. Athletes are lining up to swap out their regular shoelaces for G4G's NEON yellow laces to raise awareness for pediatric cancer," said Beth Stefanacci, Go4theGoal's Executive Director. Laces are also available for purchase at Shop G4G on the Go4theGoal website.
