The Lubetkin Family will be the third recipient of the Herb M. Iris Award.
The Lubetkin brothers, Bernard, Charlie and Alvin have been mainstays in and around NJIT since the 1950’s.
Charlie, a standout athlete in his own right, was inducted into the NJIT Hall of Fame in 1994.
The Lubetkin family, for whom our soccer and lacrosse field, located just outside these doors, is named, have been omni-present and supportive with their time, talent and treasure as NJIT has navigated its course through, NAIA, NCAA Division III, II and now Division I.
