Jon Ross was part of the NCE soccer team during the program’s infancy
In his senior season in 1955, Ross anchored the defense for Mal Simon's first team
As a senior, Ross became only the second Highlander to earn National Soccer Coaches Association of America Eastern District team Honorable Mention honors
With Ross manning the back line in 1955, the Highlanders allowed just nine goals in seven games
