Bob Welgos lettered in basketball and bowling from 1958-62
Welgos averaged 16.8 points per game over his three years with the basketball team
He scored in double figures in 48 of 51 games
As a junior, Welgos registered seven (out of 18) 20-point games
As a senior, he was all-Tournament selection at the RIT Invitational Tournament
Welgos also captained the bowling team
As a senior he was a semifinalist at the Eastern Collegiate Bowling Championships
