Sophomore middle Fernanda Lima combined for 16 kills, two errors, on 30 attempts this past weekend as NJIT went 1-1 at the Terrier Invitational hosted by Saint Francis (NY).

Lima hit .636 against host Saint Francis Friday afternoon (7k, 0e, 11a) and turned around Saturday with nine kills on 19 attempts in the Highlanders's first victory of the 2010 season over Saint Peter's, 3-1.

Lima also added seven block assists on the week.
