Freshman sprinter Kelsey Jackson placed seventh in the women’s 400 meter dash at the 2011 Great West Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 58.22, a new school-record.

Jackson set two NJIT school-records on Sunday in the women’s 200 and 400 meter dash, in which Jackson re-set on Monday.

The freshman was also a member of the school-record 4x400 meter relay which finished with a time of 4:08.27. The relay team surpassed the old mark of 4:15.10, accomplished at South Dakota.
