Biography
2019-20: Competed in seven indoor events (outdoor season cancelled due to COVID-19 public health crisis)...named ASUN Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 15, the first time a Highlander has won the award…won a pair of High Jump events (Wagner Shootout, Dec. 13; Spartan Invite, Jan. 10)…just missed the medal stand (4th) at both the Metropolitan Championships (Jan. 30) and the ASUN Indoor Championships (Feb. 28)…set college PRs in the 60 hurdles (9.23, ASUN on Feb. 28) and the Pentathlon (2717 points, Mets on Jan. 30).
2018-19: Competed in 12 events…set college PRs in the 100 hurdles (15.80, All-American Meet on Apr. 20) and 200 meters (28.94, UNF Spring Break Invitational on Mar. 21)…won the High Jump at the Fordham Season Opener (Dec. 7) and Peacock/Brick City Classic (Apr. 28)
2017-18:Stellar freshman season. ... in Highlander debut at the Fordham Opener recorded first-place finish in the women’s high jump with a height of 1.70m and women’s pole vault cleared a height of 2.44m. Her height in the high jump is a freshman and NJIT school-record. It was also an ECAC qualifying mark, which is the first time an NJIT woman has ever qualified for the indoor championships in any field. … at the ASUN Indoor Championships just missed the podium tying for fourth in the high jump, 1.60m. … placed third in the pole vault at the METS Outdoor Championships with a 2.56m mark, third place in the women’s high jump 1.60m. … won the women’s high jump boasting a 1.60m mark at the Brick City Classic. … earned NJIT Female Athlete of the Week three times (12/4, 1/16, 4/16). … member of the Leadership Academy. … Outstanding Performer for NJIT Indoor Women’s Track and Field.
