PRINCETON, NJ – Blake Brancato broke the 5K record at the 218 Larry Ellis Invitational held at Princeton on Friday.

The senior was the only Highlander participant at the invite.

Brancato broke the 5K record coming in first with a time of 14:45.48, three seconds faster than the second place finisher from Villanova.

Men's and women's track and field will compete at the East Stroudsburg Invite on Saturday.
