JUVISY, FRANCE—NJIT's Terrence Smith paced the Highlanders with a double-double, scoring a game-high 16 points and 11 rebounds as visiting NJIT defeated Juvisy, 69-58.
NJIT, which is 3-1 on the European trip, will wrap up the 10-day tour against Trappes on August 27 at 7pm.
Smith, a sophomore from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, finished the game shooting 8-for-12 from the field.
Freshman point guard Damon Lynn combined for 15 points off the bench for the Highlanders knocking down five three-pointers and finishing the game 5-of-9 while adding two assists, two rebounds and two steals.
The other double-figure scorer for NJIT Monday was sophomore guard Winfield Willis, who filled up the box score with 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Ky Howard posted seven points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes of action while forward Daquan Holiday added six points and four rebounds.
Freshman Tim Coleman contributed four points, five rebounds and two assists in 10 minutes of action off the bench.
