OUDENAARDE, BELGUIM—Junior forward Daquan Holiday led NJIT with 21 points and 22 rebounds en route to a 58-49 victory over Oudenaarde in the second game of the Highlanders scheduled European trip.
 
Holiday notched his second double-double of the trip after combining for 10 points and 12 rebounds against Meppel Red Giants on August 21.  He finished Thursday's contest 9-for-19 from the field while adding five steals and two blocks.
 
Freshman Damon Lynn was the other double-digit scorer for NJIT, with 12 points coming off the bench.  Sophomore Terrence Smith added nine points and five rebounds while Nigel Sydnor posted five points and seven rebounds.
 
The Highlanders will return to action on Friday, August 23 against Brussels in Belgium's capital city.  Brussels basketball plays in Belgium's first league, the Ethias League.
