BOCA RATON, FL – The NJIT men's and women's tennis teams fell at Florida Atlantic, 7-0, at Patch Reef Park Tuesday afternoon.

Florida Atlantic, who snapped a two-match losing streak, improved to 8-5 on the season on the men's side sweeping both singles and doubles contests.

The closest singles score came at the second spot as NJIT sophomore Carl Lundquist was defeated 7-5, 6-4 by Florida Atlantic's Lawrence Harradine.

On the women's side, Florida Atlantic recorded its second consecutive 7-0 victory Tuesday improving to 7-8 on the season while the Highlanders fall to 6-6 on the season.

NJIT senior Isha Toor competing at third singles lost by identical scores, 6-4, 6-4 to Florida Atlantic's Natasha Basma. 

The women will host Seton Hall on Sunday, March 21 at Noon in Montclair at Brookdale Park.  The men's tennis team is scheduled to return to action on Monday, March 22 at Fairfield.
