Women's Swimming Travels to Lehigh

BETHLEHEM, PA – The NJIT women’s swimming team picked up three second-place finishes Sunday afternoon as the visiting Highlanders fell 37-21at Lehigh.
Senior captain Teresa Higgins competing in the 200 yard freestyle finished with a time of 2:25.79, recording four points for NJIT.
Freshman Michelle Velez finished with a time of 1:10.19 in the 100 yard freestyle while classmate Lily Graca followed behind at 1:14.84.
NJIT’s Rachael Abadie added a time of 2:27.20 in the women’s 200 yard IM.
The Highlanders will return to action on Friday when they travel to Wagner for a 6pm start.
