NAPERVILLE, Ill. – NJIT senior Umar Saeed has been selected Great West Conference Runner of the Week for the second time this season the conference office announced Wednesday afternoon.

South Dakota's Ramsey Fitzsimmons was named Female Runner of the Week finishing 10th in the South Dakota State Classic as she completed the 6k race in 18:02.

Saeed, the Highlanders captain, finished second overall at the Brooks Paul Short Run which featured 322 runners hosted by Lehigh last Friday.  Saeed finished the 8k course with a time of 25:06.

The Highlanders will return to action on Sunday when they host its annual Highlander Invitational at 10:30am.
