Event & Game Day Parking

The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility, home of the NJIT men’s and women’s tennis programs, has undergone significant enhancements, highlighted by the installation of Musco’s state-of-the-art LED Lighting Solution System.

The facility also serves as the streaming hub for NJIT Tennis, with all home matches broadcast live on the NJIT Tennis YouTube channel and archived for post-match analysis by the coaching staff.

Opened in 2011, the 25,000-square-foot indoor athletic complex serves as the primary home for NJIT’s men’s and women’s tennis teams while also supporting intramural programs, recreational sports, and team practices. The fully air-conditioned facility features a versatile playing surface designed to accommodate a wide range of recreational and intramural activities.

Musco’s advanced LED lighting technology enhances the experience for student-athletes, spectators, and broadcasts alike. Utilizing precision optics, the system delivers more uniform court lighting while significantly reducing glare, improving visibility and overall playability.

The LED system also offers customizable dimming and on/off controls, allowing lighting levels to be adjusted court-by-court when full illumination is unnecessary. These upgrades have reduced energy consumption by 57 percent compared to the facility’s previous lighting system.

In addition, the system is supported by a 10-year parts and labor warranty backed by Musco technicians, eliminating long-term maintenance costs for the university. Musco’s integrated controls and monitoring platform also provides flexible facility management through web-based scheduling software, a 24/7 support center, and mobile app accessibility.

NJIT home tennis matches are streamed live on the NJIT Tennis YouTube channel, with recordings later utilized by the coaching staff for detailed match breakdowns and player development analysis.
